Job Description

Our client, a US based SaaS Spend and Procurement disruptor is looking for a first line sales leader; Vice President of Sales for the EMEA region.  You will work with company executives and global leadership team to drive the strategy for the EMEA Region.  REMOTE IN EMEA REGION ONLY

Role Description

The Vice President of Sales will have primary responsibility for setting and executing the Go to Market strategy for the EMEA region in conjunction with the Global Leadership Team.  Priority focus for this role is driving net new revenue.


Specific responsibilities would include the following:

  • Develop and execute the Sales strategy and plan for the Region to achieve quota and corporate objectives
  • Instill a disciplined repeatable sales process following a Challenger, MEDDIC or similar methodology
  • Implement and drive a disciplined sales forecasting process, provide weekly, monthly and quarterly bookings forecast
  • Provide Leadership with heavy emphasis on coaching and mentoring existing and new Enterprise and Strategic Account Executives
  • Upskill and Train Account Executives to sell in Enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders, decision makers, complex environments, with large six-seven figure deal outcomes
  • Cleary communicate strategy, roles, expectations, and the deliverables expected
  • Reinforce strong Hunting behaviors – prospecting, cold calling, pipeline development
  • Reinforce strategic territory and account planning
  • Reinforce a value oriented /business outcomes mindset
  • Instill accountability and an expectation of results




  • 10+ Years in Enterprise Software Sales
  • 5+ Years in a Sales Leadership capacity with a SaaS start up
  • Track record of exceeding quota in the ~$5M ARR – net new revenue range
  • Track record of building and scaling a distributed sales teams of ~7-9 in Europe
  • Evangelical bringing a new product or category to market with excellent story telling skills
  • Formal Sales Training in Challenger, MEDDIC or similar methodology
  • Hands-on coaching and team selling, leading from the front setting the example
  • High Integrity, solid character and team building skills
  • Excellent board room, communication, and interpersonal skills – gravitas
  • Strives for excellent in all facets of life – academically, professional, personally
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • Flexibility to travel in the region



Salary is commensurate with experience.
